$50 is a little steep for this in my opinion. We have used cut-up sockets that we welded tubes to in the past and this is obviously cleaner and easier to use. Not having long extensions can really help with how much wobble and play you get in the system which can be nice to make getting it on the fastener a little easier. I was missing my adapter but I have a lot of them and didn’t care and it appears from other reviews that it was an isolated issue.Being hollow on the inside to allow threaded rod to pass through is where this has a huge advantage. so you don’t have to cut the rod multiple times throughout installation, can just trim them one time at the end.Worth it if it solves a problem for you or you will use it all day long but not sure if I only needed it once that I would spring for the money.
