OverviewSpecsFAQsGalleriesResourcesReviews Product Description Tru Strip is a biodegradable, industrial-strength sealer remover designed to break down and lift a wide range of coatings from concrete and other surfaces without the harsh feel of many traditional stripping products. It is very user-friendly, easy to apply by roller or sprayer, and highly effective on most standard sealers used on concrete, masonry, brick, metal, and wood. Tru Strip provides strong stripping action on acrylics, urethanes, glues, varnish, alkyd paints, latex paints, lead based paints, and even some epoxies. One of its biggest advantages is that it emulsifies the coating as it breaks it down, which means once the material is released from the surface, it cannot re-cure. That makes removal more complete and helps prevent partially loosened coatings from resetting during cleanup. It can be sprayed or rolled on, allowed to dwell for a few hours, and then wiped or washed away. Coverage will vary depending on coating thickness, but typical range is about 100 to 250 square feet per gallon. It is also available in a 1-gallon container. As with any coating remover, it is best to test a small section first and follow the product instructions before moving on to the full surface. Protect all adjacent surfaces, finished areas, and plant life from exposure before application. Tru Strip may be applied with a solvent-rated sprayer, rolled on, or spread with a squeegee depending on the surface and project size. Allow the product to dwell for about 30 minutes to start, then check how the coating is responding. Once the sealer or coating begins to break down, work the area with a broom or similar tool to help fully loosen the material. Scrape up the residue and rinse the surface thoroughly with water. Heavier coatings or multiple layers may require a second application. Tip:For larger projects, like stripping sealer from a patio, it often works best to apply Tru Strip in the evening and let it dwell overnight for a more complete breakdown.
